About
More than a venue. A village.
Birmingham Sporting Village is the events home at Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club — a 200,000-visitor sports village where sport, space and a proper welcome come as standard.
Who we are
Built on sport, shaped by community
Birmingham Sporting Village is owned and operated by Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club — a rugby club founded in 1873 and one of the oldest and most respected in the Midlands. More than 150 years of sport, community and pride are built into everything we do.
The Village at Billesley Common has grown into one of the most vibrant and active sports destinations in the West Midlands. Over 200,000 people visit each year — not for one thing, but for the full and extraordinary range of what life at the Village offers.

The spaces
One venue, flexible spaces
The Reddings Suite
Our flagship event and conferencing space — a multi-million-pound suite, opened in 2015 and one of the largest in South Birmingham. Full-length windows give panoramic views over the main pitch; it's entirely private, with its own bar, and flexes from boardroom to banquet for up to 440.
The Clubhouse
The club's sociable bar and lounge — a relaxed, informal setting for receptions, parties and celebrations for up to 120 guests.
The Players' Room
An intimate meeting and breakout room — the right size for workshops, syndicate sessions and smaller meetings of up to 30.
The setting
A real sporting ground
Beyond the suite, the club's pitches and grounds open up the active away-days and team-building sessions a hotel simply can't host.
- 1st XV rugby pitch
- Full size — 100m × 70m, with 8m dead-ball areas
- All-weather pitch (AWP)
- 96m × 65m, playable year-round
